What You’ll Be Doing
- Take Ownership: Lead construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring everything stays on track.
- Run the Jobsite: Oversee day-to-day activities, resolve issues, and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
- Work with Subs: Build strong relationships, review bids, negotiate contracts, and keep subcontractors aligned with schedules and expectations.
- Keep Clients Happy: Communicate regularly, manage expectations, and deliver projects that exceed expectations.
- Manage the Budget: Stay on top of costs, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on budget and on time.
- Lead the Team: Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep everyone working toward the same goal.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven Experience: 7–10 years managing construction projects, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with tools like Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
- Strong Leadership: You know how to lead, communicate, and solve problems on-site and in the office.
- Flexibility: Willing to travel up to 10% to job sites across the U.S.
